Jonathan Clark is delighted to be sponsoring this exhibition of Modern British figure paintings at Southampton City Art Gallery. Often overlooked - Southampton is in a league of its own - having the best collection of paintings in Southern England outside of London. Our selection of 35 paintings from the gallery's extensive holdings, includes some of the great achievements of Modern British Art, and is part of a campaign to re-evaluate the Collection, and encourage a greater flood of visitors to Southampton's dramatic Art Deco gallery.
This exhibition will coincide with Jonathan's move into private dealership and the closing of the Park Walk gallery.

Trains from London Waterloo to Southampton Central, and the return journey, take around 1 hour 15 minutes, leaving every half an hour. The station is 10 minutes' walk from the Gallery.
